MY ROLE:
Graphic Designer, Print Production Coordinator
During my time working at Bona US, in addition to graphic design-related tasks, a good portion of my job was running the in-house print production operation. I became very familiar with the printers, machines and tools, and needed a way to distill that knowledge to the rest of the creative team upon my departure.
This "Print Production Workflows Guide" (front cover shown here) was created for the Creative Team at the Bona US headquarters in Englewood, CO.

Custom icons and imagery were developed in brand fonts and colors which played nicely with the "CMYK" theme (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black — the colors used in many printing processes).
The Creative Team in the United States still uses this tool (in both printed and interactive digital formats) to find guidance through some of the more complex processes.
Above/below: Mockup images of the front and back covers were created along with some sample spreads to show a realistic view of the general layout
